Now that we have a bunch of people folding, first, make sure you’ve signed up for a passkey, it helps you get the most points possible.
https://foldingathome.org/support/faq/points/passkey/
Also the Oppo team ID is 261120, make sure to put that in your client to join the team!
Next, let’s see the specs of what everyone is running!
My main rig is running an Intel i7-4790k at base clock and an ASUS STRIX GTX1080 Ti slightly overclocked.
My second rig that I just set up is running an 8th gen i5, but I’m not using the processor, and a GTX1660 Ti Mobile.

How do I get the Oppo passkey?

There isn’t one. The passkey is for your account/username. Install the app, fill in your name and click the link to request a passkey. It’ll send you an email, paste that number in, and you are on the team!

I’ve got 2 machines.
One is a dual quad XEON E5620 (16 total threads) with a GTX570. I have a GTX 650 ti waiting, but it would actually be a little slower for this, so it stays put (unless anyone wants it)
My other machine is a trashcan mac pro with 24 total threads but because FFH doesn’t work with mac the dual radeons are unused. Bummer.

I’m already on the team, but I left the passkey blank, do I have to restart?

I have two Dell Precision laptops, one with a i7-7820 HQ and a Quadro M2200, and one with an i7-4810MQ and a Radeon 8800M. Also running my Surface Book with a 6th gen i5 and some sorta Nivida graphics card, and then a 2011 iMac with a 2nd gen i5.
The Dells actually pull some pretty good points, the Surface and the Mac also don’t do too bad for what they are.
Added a passkey to a user name I was already using, so my 10 min WU count started over.

I have an HP Omen laptop - I7-7700 cpu, 16GB ram, GTX 1070. Seems to be doing some damage on the scoreboards now that I passed the 10 unit minimum!

I have four machines going (if I’m not using them):
i7-8700k (@4.7GHz), GTX 1070
i5-2500k , Radeon 5500 XT
i3-2100, Radeon 7870
m3-6Y30, No discrete GPU

Nope, just sign up for the pass
key and enter it in the client or browser client. Click on change identity and enter the passkey there. Also you have to complete 10 WU to get a passkey.

My machines are a bit older, but are slogging away on this project
1) HP Z420 - 8-core, 16-thread Xeon E5-2670, 3.0 GHz in turbo. Radeon FirePro W7000 video card, 32 GB DDR3 ECC.
2) Custom machine from the remnants of my old HP Elite 8300 CMT. 4-core, 8-thread i7-3770K, overclocked to 5.02 GHZ on turbo with custom air cooling. GTX 1080, 32 GB DDR3.
I have been having a little trouble on the i7, with the status webpage endlessly refreshing. Clearing the cache in Chrome seems to get it running normally again. Apparently this isn’t a new problem, and affects a number of people irrespective of platform.
I also haven’t seen the GPU doing any tasks lately. I figured that this was the best part of that system and I’m disappointed to find that F@H doesn’t seem to be taking advantage of it recently; it was busy, like the CPU, on the first night, but periodic checks haven’t seen it doing anything.

I finally gave into peer-pressure and joined. I’m not expecting much with my current setup of a W5590 and a Quadro 4000.

What’s this folding you’re talking about, can I use my phone?
i 7-3770k: 8 threads @ 4.2 w/ 780 ti
R5-3400g: 8 threads w / Vega 10
R7-2700u: 8 threads w/ Vega 8 (notebook)

I’ve had good luck using Firefox over Chrome for the web folding client. However YMMV.
Also, when it doesn’t seem my GPU is getting a WU for awhile I reboot my machine and it sometimes picks one up after that.

I kicked it into high gear to try to find my way ahead of you... I doubt I’ll be in the top 10 in 24 hours though.
Ryzen 7 1700 @ 4ghz with a 1080 (1 12 slot CPU, 1 2 slot CPU + GPU)
Core i7 8850-H - no GPU folding (1 12 slot CPU)
Xeon E-2186G - no GPU folding (1 12 slot CPU)
The Laptop and the Xeon won’t fold most of the day but will all night if they get WU’s. I could theoretically add another two 1080's if they don’t have work to do at night but it’s a PITA to manually manage that.

Great! I’ve been thinking about upgrading for a few months now. I may wait until AMD announces their next gen that are supposedly being announced later this year to upgrade though.

Are you running both under different names? You can run them both under the same name if you want to, it would combine the points instead of separating them.

Sadly I don’t have too much experience with Steam and backing up anything, I keep that all on a separate drive usually by default , but it appears a couple of people have been able to help him.
